Last Laugh

Hi Everyone,

The first school term is almost completed , and the football pre-season has started across the whole of Dunedin. Kidz Inc have always been football mad, so over the next three weeks we will be planning in preparation for the school holidays.

The Great Northern Junior Football Coaching Clinic

As part of our commitment to develop youth leadership, we will be training our Northern Junior 15th Grade team to deliver a coaching programme for 6-12 year old footballers.

We are working in partnership with Northern Junior Association Football Club (NJAFC for short), who along with Maori Hill are under the umbrella of Northern Football Club (senior club). This relationship is to support NJAFC their QualityMark accreditation football provider in Dunedin. This is an exciting prospect for the football commmunity as it will access resources, people and equipment to keep building and developing football in our area.

All proceeds from the coaching clinic will go towards continued youth development and leadership opportunities in North Dunedin.

Kidz Inc working with NJAFC to support football development in Dunedin, together we are training youth and willing parents to become coaches. We will be offering the New Zealand Football training programme in a team coaching environment that will have a the skills and games to build any young players’ enthusiasm in this sport.

The Last Laugh

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson go on a camping trip. After a good dinner and a bottle of wine, they retire for the night, and go to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes up and nudges his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."
"I see millions and millions of stars, Holmes" replies Watson.
"And what do you deduce from that?"
Watson ponders for a minute.

"Well, astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful, and that we are a small and insignificant part of the universe. What does it tell you, Holmes?"

Holmes is silent for a moment. "Watson, you idiot!" he says. "Someone has stolen our tent!"

Thanks for getting through to the end of this newsletter. We look forward to seeing you for Autumn. In the meantime, see you next newsletter.
